Membership

Members of the community are invited to join our Vox FM membership and support our organisation.

The station is run totally by volunteers and the Board of Directors is elected directly from within the membership. Local residents are encouraged to become members of the station and to play a part in the running of our station, whether it is as a trained Presenter or a volunteer who helps keep the station running smoothly. Support your local community radio, join us today.

Vox fm is a not-for-profit charitable institution and relies on government grants, donations, membership and sponsorship to remain on the air.

Any member of the community who might be interested in volunteering at VOX FM is invited to contact us by sending an email our phoning our office for further information.

Please note your membership is not finalised until full payment is received and approval is given at the next Board Meeting. We will contact you when your application has been approved.

 After you are submitted your form please post a cheque to our office with the correct amount, or alternatively contact our office by telephone for other payment details.

The VOX annual membership fees are as follows:
 
Members $32.50, Concession, $15.00, Group $130.00     
 
New members are required to pay an extra one off initial $5.50 administration fee 
 

RENEWALS

All membership renewals are due on 1st July of each year. Memberships that are not renewed before the 31st of August each year will lapse and be cancelled according to the rules. Any on air presentation time will lapse and be suspended if membership is not renewed by the due date according to the rules of the Association.

If a membership renewal is received after 31st August membership will be reinstated, but the member will forfeit voting and nomination rights for three calendar months from the date of receipt of payment (articles 23, 27, 33 of the Association).

 

It is the  responsibility of new members to aquaint themselves with both the the Policies /Procedures and Constitution of VOX fm . Hard copies can be obtained from the VOX fm office or downloaded from VOX fm website.
