Meet Alan, a dedicated member of the VOX FM community for the past 13 years as co-host of Headway, a program for people who suffer from head injuries. Being a sufferer himself, he can empathise & understand the challenges of living with a disability. On air, Alan has interviewed a diverse range of individuals, including the Disability Trust NDIS, Flagstaff Disability Service's CEO, and House with No Steps. Off-air, Alan shares his expertise with motivational talks to over 200 people at TAFE on brain injury, sharing how he became such an incredible community asset. Alan's passion for helping others is evident in all aspects of his life. He excels at the Headway program and is a valuable asset to the once-a-month synapse support group for people with brain injuries. Alan's enthusiasm and dedication shine through in all of his work, making him an invaluable member of the VOX FM team. Tune in to Headway on Tuesdays at 12 noon to hear Alan and his co-host discuss important issues affecting the community.
